Happy workplace

Choose a workplace you love and you will never have to work a day in your life 

Kerja ternyata bukan sekedar kerja. Ternyata banyak lika-likunya.Kerjaannya suka, tapi lingkungan kerjanya nggak enak? Hmmm.
Dua bulan ini aku nyoba kerja di beberapa tempat. Mungkin bisa disebut freelancer yah?
Lain lubuk lain ilalang memang. Di satu tempat kerjaannya super santai, WiFi oke, tapi agak jauh dari rumah dan kurang respect sama pemiliknya. Di tempat yang lain jaraknya juga sama jauhnya, tapi fee dapet lebih gede dari  yang pertama, dan teman-teman kerjanya juga menyenangkan. Atau ada lagi tempat kerja yang fee nya standart, nggak ada WiFi, tapi kerja super enak dan teman-teman yang menyenangkan. Sebetulnya banyak hal yang harus kita pertimbangkan dan ga melulu soal fee yang didapatkan.Jika kita lihat, beberapa orang terdekat kita, mungkin orangtua atau tante-om kita sudah bertahun-tahun atau bahkan berpuluh-puluh tahun kerja pada suatu tempat dan mereka menjalaninya dengan sukacita padahal letaknya juga tidak dekat dari rumah.Apa iya hanya sekedar fee nya yang besar?

For me, being happy in the workplace is very important. So, what would make you happier at work? A higher salary? More coworkers you get along with? Better hours? More holidays and days off? or better workplace environment?
They say money can’t buy you happiness, and I think it's true. Huge revenue also comes with great responsibility. But unfortunately not everyone is ready to be given great responsibility, maybe they are just ready to get a huge income. So what happens is the job goes wrong and they are not responsible. Not to mention burden of disturbing thoughts that take their happiness.

Better hours? More holidays and days off?
Whether the number of holidays is the assurance we happier? I do not think so. Most people choose to work as usual. They used to be busy and find it strange if they do not work. They feel sick if they had too long holiday. Maybe it could be understood since they met and chatted with co-workers at work  could make them happier.

But how do you achieve happiness in the workplace? First of all you have to find a job you love, but often this is not enough. If your offices are depressing - the job you love might sadly become the job you hate. Second, don't you realize that creativity and bright ideas come from a happy workplace/environment?  The place where the people are allowed freedom to think and express themselves, where they can discuss ideas with co-workers, or relax during office hours. Third,
whether your salary accordance with your abilities and what you want?. The last is your
boss appreciates you, fair to all employees, and kind. Cause it is true to say that a happy worker who feels valued and appreciated will invest time to get the job right.
